Written by Moliere. In order to sell tickets to his masterpiece, The Misanthrope, Moliere wrote this piece of fluff. A woodsman is duped into believing he is a doctor in spite of himself. Since he "speaks" Latin, he figures it must be so. A delightful comedy for the high brow and low brow alike.
